Mike lives in colorful Colorado under the shadow of Long’s Peak (elevation 14,259 ft). After grad school and a stint in Viet Nam for the US Army, Mike’s first career was in business. He worked for large corporations for a while. Then he succumbed to the mysterious urge to work 60 hours per week with no guarantees of any income, no paid holidays or sick days, no health insurance and no expense account so
he started up several small businesses. His serial entrepreneurial scorecard was three wins, two losses and one tie. The tie was the most fun of them all. Writing fiction is almost as much fun but the pay
sucks.
